About Matcek Sawmill

Matcek Sawmill is a father/son team based out of Franklin, Texas. While starting out as a hobby in 2013, we slowly grew and upgraded our milling equipment.

In 2017 we upgraded to an LT40 Hydraulic Mill to increase production and added a Kiln to professionally dry lumber.

We take pride in seeing a customer’s vision and bringing it to life. All too often, we have cases of people wanting trees cut on their property, the pride of it coming off their land, and making it into useable furniture and tables. That itself is priceless. We take pride in excelling at what we do, all while keeping the customer’s vision in mind, preserving the most yield out of each log and eliminating waste.
